Ethan to attempt a strenuous journey
Ethan S, from Abram, a year 11 student at St Edmund Arrowsmith High School is attempting the strenuous journey of trekking across the Sahara this November to raise money and awareness for Wigan and Leigh Hospice. Inspired to undertake this journey by his late Auntie Gail, who received loving care and kindness from the hospice. Ethan visited her often and saw the importance of the care given and decided to take it upon himself to honour their cause.
A special mention must go to Harriet for her excellent article highlighting Ethan's incredible Sahara charity trek. Ethan's dedication, resilience and commitment to fundraising are truly inspiring, and we are proud to help share his story with our school community.
