Y8 student, Samantha Dingsdale took part in an archery competition last week. She shot in the LAA (Lancashire Archery Association) UK record status championships at Eccles. The round she shot was called a Bristol VI, where she shot 24 ends and 144 arrows. Samantha shot 12 ends at 40 yards, 8 ends at 30 yards and 4 ends at 20 yards. Samantha was placed 2nd with a score of 984, in her age bracket of under 14 women’s recurve (my bow style).
