Art can lead to careers in a number of creative industries. Advertising, animation, video games design, television, fashion and graphic design are just some of the many pathways open to those who pursue a career in art. As the creative sector grows at a faster rate than the rest of the economy, it can help open doors to growing employment opportunities. At college Art is available as general A level or a specific media, such as photography. Other non A level courses are also available. At university students then specialise and select degrees to cater towards the art specialism they wish to focus upon.
