Welcome to our first Blog

After a relaxing summer break, the new school year has already begun and there are so many exciting activities to look forward to. Lots of returning, and new clubs, are getting underway, and it's great to see lots of year 7s already getting involved. It is also great to see the new Prefects and Senior Prefects already tackling their tough duties fantastically.

Sports teams are starting up again with Year 7 football trials taking place this week and the older years beginning training for the upcoming season very soon. We are hoping to continue adding to our silverware collection, that we built on successfully last year. So, we encourage anyone wanting to get involved, to put themselves forward to join the amazing sports teams we have here at St Edmund Arrowsmith.

The rehearsals for the upcoming school play have also begun, as we look forward to watching another amazing show from the Drama department in the coming months. We have no doubt that it will be a great success.
Also, coming up soon is another great event that we both urge everyone to try and get involved in: St Edmund Arrowsmith's amazing open evening. This great event allows us and the teachers to showcase our favourite subjects, to those wanting to join the school. Make sure you don't miss out on such a great event to take part in and showcase what a great school you are part of.

We hope everyone had a great summer and is looking forward to a fresh start this year. We encourage everyone to try and take part in something new, get involved and make the most of their experience here at our school.

Best wishes,

Lois and Henry
