Mr Dumican and the Board of Governors wish to formally acknowledge the remarkable service to school governance that both Mr Holden and Mr Heaton have made over their collective terms of office.
Paul Holden has been a school governor for 45 years both at St Benedicts, Cardinal Newman and St Edmund Arrowsmith CHS.
Gareth Heaton has been connected with our school for 21 years through his involvement with the PTA, as a Parent and Foundation Governor.
The school community are extremely appreciative of the huge amount of time, skills, care and attention that both governors have given freely so that our school thrives, despite the most challenging of times. Both governors have always understood the responsibilities attached to the role of a school governor; showing challenge and tenacity whenever necessary to hold the senior management up to account.
We would like to wish both Mr Holden and Mr Heaton a long, happy and healthy retirement.
