A massive THANK YOU to everyone who voted for our students during the Wigan & Leigh Youth Parliament vote.
Due to the large number of votes that our students received, SEACHS has been awarded with a 'Top Performing School' Award' from Wigan Council for our work with the Youth Parliament! Mr Dumican and Mrs Paul attended the award ceremony last night, along with our students and were delighted to be presented with this Award on behalf of everyone who voted.
Mr Dumican said: "All good things come in 3's! After finding out we were the top school in Wigan for GCSE results in 2023, we had the exciting news we had achieved an 'Outstanding' judgement in our Section 48 Inspection and now this Award".
We would like to thank all of our students who took part in the process, Bethany Brocken, Jack Stafford and William Smith. We are extremely proud of you all and are absolutely certain that you will use your skills for public speaking and caring for your community to good use in your future careers.
