GCSE Results Day is fast approaching and I would like to share some important information with you regarding this event.
On Thursday 12 August 2021 (providing that government restrictions have been fully lifted), pupils should come in to school to collect their GCSE results from 9.30am. However, if government restrictions are still in place, we will have to review this and an email and letter will be sent to you closer to the time confirming the day’s arrangements.
If your son or daughter is unable to collect their results on the day, please ask them to email firstname.lastname@example.org from their school account with their preferred method of collection, as detailed below:-
- A responsible adult will come to collect them on my behalf (please name the person who will be collecting in your email, they will also need to bring proof of ID).
- I will collect my results on a different day.
I hope that your son or daughter is pleased with the results they receive, however should they believe that there is an error with any of the results, we have an appeals procedure as set out by the Joint Council for Qualifications.
Before you make an appeal please read the documents below. If you still wish to make an appeal then complete the Microsoft form using the link below for Stage one – Centre review. The deadline for stage one appeals is Friday 3rd September 2021.
