Year 11 Work Experience was slightly different for 16 of our pupils. These 16 pupils and teachers Mr Griffin and Miss Derbyshire took the opportunity to spend five days looking at life in the Army at the Army Recruiting Team in Ripon. Before even attending the course the pupils were given a briefing and an interview to make sure that they all understood the content, procedures and of course, the discipline.
The course was definitely not a holiday camp. It was filled with activities that were both physically and mentally demanding and even the teachers had a go, as you can see in the pictures. The pupils and teachers would like to thank the Army for the experience. It was a very interesting and enjoyable course, even if it was exhausting.
