The CAFOD Music Showcase is an opportunity for all pupils involved with the Music Department to perform and showcase their talent. The evening will consist of a range of performances from Y7 Choir and Senior Choir, Concert Band, smaller musical ensembles, duets, soloists and a special performance from the Staff Choir.

Funds raised will go towards CAFOD - the official aid agency of the Catholic Church. With the Year of Mercy in mind, a ‘water project’ has been chosen to donate the money to, ensuring that families in the poorest villages in Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zimbabwe have clean and safe water to drink.

Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the evening with a variety of prizes available to win. All proceeds raised by the raffle will again go directly to CAFOD.

The school canteen (attached to the hall) will be open from 6pm where drinks and light snacks can be purchased. This will remain open for the duration of the evening as there is no interval due to the informal nature of the show.

Due to the nature of the event there are only a limited number of tickets, therefore any ticket requests should be returned to school as soon as possible. There will be no additional tickets sold on the night.

If arriving by car on the evening, please be aware of the spacious car parking facilities at the rear of the school (approached along St Oswald’s Road) in addition to the front car park.
